The past 24 hours as of 9 am today our farms have had 1-3 inches of rain, not really what we want this time of year.
We were able to install 2 bridges for a ditch crossing for a new irrigation on our Baum farm south of St. Francisville yesterday before getting rain out. Started picking up brush and burning along ditch banks where we had taken out the trees this past winter; probably another day when weather permits we will have that job taken care of. On our driest filed we were able to apply fertilize and anhydrous on March 31st to get all calibrated and working correctly.
Damon continues to apply fertilize on lawns for our new turf business.
Also our new 250000 bu bin in Indiana has started to go up. The bin should be up in a couple of weeks. will probably go back to hauling some grain next week while the field dry.
This is Easter weekend I hope very body attends the church of their choice to worship our risen savior.
